About Upfluence
Upfluence develops and sells influencer marketing software worldwide. Our platform allows brands and agencies to identify and contact millions of social influencers and bloggers at scale, as well as manage and analyze their influencer marketing campaigns. Since the launch of the software in October 2016, the company has grown rapidly, and we’re looking to expand even more. Our team is international and ever-growing, distributed between our offices in NYC, Los Angeles, Mexico, and Lyon.
What you’ll do.
We’re looking for a creator turned marketer, someone who knows how to make content that people actually watch, share, and engage with. You’ll be the in-house voice of Upfluence across channels, building and engaging communities just like you’d grow your own. As a digital native and heavy consumer of video-first platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram), you’ll know exactly what resonates, how to capture attention, and how to turn messaging and trends into content that drives real impact.
Your day-to-day:
- Plan & develop content: Execute a content roadmap that balances brand engagement, lead generation, and community growth.
- Create and scale content: Short-form video (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts), podcasts, live streams, webinars, and social-first visuals.
- Be the storyteller: Craft compelling narratives across formats, from catchy hooks and scripts to copywriting for captions, blogs, and campaigns, making Upfluence relatable and inspiring.
- Distribute & amplify content: Publish and promote across platforms, collaborate with partners, and drive reach through PR, affiliates, and creator communities.
- Engage communities: Grow and nurture our presence on LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Discord (and beyond).
- Experiment & grow: Test new formats, hooks, and tactics to build reach and engagement, think like a creator, not a corporate account.
- Collaborate across the company: Work with design, marketing, partnership, customer success. products, and sales teams to produce content that supports lead generation and brand credibility, but with a creator-first touch.
- Measure & adapt: Track performance, engagement, and follower growth, optimize based on what resonates.
You’re a perfect match if
- You are or have been a creator yourself, whether freelance, personal brand, or working with clients. B2B or SaaS experience is a plus.
- You’re a digital native and heavy consumer of video-first platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram), with a deep understanding of what works where. You thrive on social media, follow trends, and love testing creative ideas.
- You have 3+ years of hands-on content creation experience (video editing, scriptwriting, posting, community management). You know how to film, edit, and post content independently (CapCut, Adobe Suite, Figma, etc.).
- You’re fluent in English (French a bonus).
- You have experience leveraging AI tools (for ideation, editing, repurposing, analytics) to scale content output and community growth. You’re curious and eager to experiment, always looking for smarter ways to create.
- You’re adaptable and comfortable switching between professional and playful tones, and can vulgarize complex pain points and benefits into clear, engaging copy.
